According to a press conference, the surveyed urban unemployment rate in the province has been trending downward. It has made full use of unemployment insurance to support job creation, extending the temporary reduction in premium rates for both unemployment and work-related injury insurance. This move has eased the financial burden on insured entities by nearly 2 billion yuan (about $296 million). In the first half of this year, Jiangxi Province issued 20.99 billion yuan in entrepreneurial guarantee loans, surpassing its annual target ahead of schedule, and these loans helped stabilize and boost employment for more than 340,000 people. Of the 1.458 million workers who have risen out of poverty, all are now employed.
